Get to know Gig Pic

Gig Pic is a brand new photo-sharing App designed specifically for concerts, live events, Gigs and festivals.

Check into an event or location and start taking pictures. When you are checked in any pictures you take using Gig Pic will be uploaded onto the activity feed and can be seen by other people checked into the event; allowing a whole new level of interaction and discovery. Artists can also check into the event and share the experience from their view, whilst also allowing them to see and feel the atmosphere from being a fan.

Got pictures from previous Gigs that you want to upload too? Not a problem; you don’t have to be at the event at the time to check in, you can search for past gigs then upload any of your favourite pictures onto the location/event page.
Every event or location gets a page specifically for pictures from that event.

Pictures can also be seen on the public activity feed (unless profile is on private). You can search for your friends and family on the App to, or maybe your favourite artist? Our App is rapidly growing and you can already see a few familiar faces on there.
Any Gigs or events you attend will be displayed on your personal activity feed along with the pictures you uploaded allowing friends and family to stay up to date with what gigs you’re attending.

You can also link your twitter and Facebook profiles up to Gig Pic allowing you to share your Pics on your other social media pages too. This saves having to re upload to the other sites. Gig Pic has already excelled in being a new creative project run purely by individuals that have a passion for music and the live event world.

We believe in allowing our users to share their experiences and pictures for free which means Gig Pic is completely free to download.

Following our main launch on March 18th Gig Pic featured on BBC Introducing with a chat about the app and future plans.

In March 2014 Gig Pic was submitted to the iOS App Store and was approved after a few days.
