The Hard Rock Stage Returns To Rock The Isle Of Wight Festival 2017

With just days until Isle of Wight Festival 2017, Hard Rock Cafe has today announced that it will be returning to Seaclose Park for a fourth consecutive year. Hard Rock Cafe is excited to be partnering with the legendary festival once again with the Hard Rock Stage. The line-up for the stage has been carefully curated by both Hard Rock and the Isle of Wight Festival, promising an epic mix of music’s most exciting rising stars, emerging artists, undiscovered acts and familiar faces, ready to rock this year’s festival over one unmissable weekend this summer.

This year’s lineup includes Starsailor frontman James Walsh, who’ll be making a solo performance on Sunday, after taking to the Big Top with his band earlier that weekend. 100 Fables were crowned European winners at last year’s global Hard Rock Rising battle of the bands competition and now the Glasgow four-piece will bring its 80s new wave, post-punk sound to the Isle of Wight Hard Rock Stage. All-female five-piece PINS will be rocking it for the girls next month. Having collaborated with rock royalty Iggy Pop, the quintet’s latest EP ‘Bad Thing’ it out now – these ladies are tipped for big things. RPMs are emerging from the new music hotbed that is Brighton. Described by the BBC as ‘a spookily young Brighton trio with killer melodies’ they’re sure to rock at the Isle of Wight Festival with their bold, edgy sound. Also joining this year’s lineup are top talent including Paves, The Wholls, Paradisia, Bang Bang Romeo and more.

That’s just a taster of what music lovers can expect at the Hard Rock Stage. These incredible acts will join this year’s Isle of Wight Festival headline acts David Guetta, Run DMC, Arcade Fire, Rod Stewart and more at the iconic music festival.

Music has always been the very heart of Hard Rock, an institution which continues to support breakthrough acts, providing the Hard Rock Stage at Isle of Wight Festival as the perfect platform to get new music out there to thousands of festivalgoers.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 8 – 11 June at Seaclose Park, Newport. From Main Stage headliners, acoustic sets, DJ performances and up-and-coming talent, alongside a huge variety of additional entertainment and activities, there’s something for everyone.

Teresa Spaventa, Hard Rock Cafe European Marketing Manager said: “We are so excited to be back for a fourth year at The Isle of Wight Festival. As always, the Hard Rock Stage will be showcasing fresh and exciting undiscovered music – something Hard Rock Cafe has always been, and remains extremely passionate about.  Year on year, the Hard Rock Stage receives an amazing response from festivalgoers at Seaclose Park – there’s nowhere else we’d want to kick off the festival season!”

Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings commented:”Hard Rock are an amazing partner to work with as they bring a fantastic range of new bands, alongside a few familiar faces. We’re excited to welcome them back in 2017.”
